Latest BC PNP tech draw invites 72 skilled immigrants

In the latest weekly held BC PNP tech draw issued a total of 72 invitations to the candidates who have work experience in any one of the targeted 29 tech eligible occupations. Introduced in 2017, the purpose of Tech pilot was to province’s IT sector to recruit IT workers to help address the current labor market needs.

In the latest round of invitations held on August 25, candidates were required to register through BC PNP’s Skilled Worker and International Graduate subcategories in both Express Entry BC (EEBC) and Skills Immigration streams Minimum score required for candidates in both sub-categories was 80 points.

So far in August, BC PNP has held a total of four provincial draws and invited a total of 863 immigration candidates for provincial candidates.

Express Entry and PNP draw specific to FN in British Columbia. and other provinces like Ontario have the consequence that more technological immigrants are invited to apply for Canadian permanent resident status, which is due to the importance of the technology sector to the Canadian economy, even during the COVID-19 pandemic.
