The latest draw of Saskatchewan’s new immigration draw was held on August 19.
The Canadian PNP Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) invited a total of 496 applicants under two immigration programs. Of those invited, 161 may be eligible for the SINP Express Entry subcategory and 335 for the In-Demand Occupations subcategory.
There was a small difference in the Expression of Interest (EOI) score requirement for each category of applicants. Candidates invited to apply for the Express Entry subcategory need a score of at least 71. The cutoff score for occupations in demand candidates was slightly lower at 70.
In this draw, there were different eligible businesses for each category. There were 43 eligible trades in the draw for express entry candidates and 61 for Occupations in-demand candidates. A full list of eligible occupations can be found on the government website.
