In the latest provincial draw, British Columbia invited 46 immigrants for a provincial nomination for Canada permanent residency held on July 28.

Under the BC PNP Tech Pilot draw, a total of 34 immigration candidates have invited under Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration categories. Invited candidates from either the Skilled Worker or the International Graduate sub-categories with the minimum points required set at 80 points.

For you to be considered for Tech pilot, you must have a valid one-year job-offer in one of Tech Pilot’s 29 eligible occupations. You just have to register yourself for BC PNP provincial nomination through an online portal Skills Immigration Registration System (SIRS).

For an express entry candidate to get a provincial nomination, they are given a major boost of 600 CRS points. These many points effectively guarantee an ITA to the candidate to submit their application for Canada PR Visa to the IRCC.

BC PNP also invited 12 candidates through its Entrepreneur immigration stream. The minimum score requirement was between 123 and 125 points. BC PNP’s Entrepreneur immigration stream allows experienced businessmen to establish and operate a business in the province and get their PR Visa. Their application will be assessed based on factors such as business and/or work experience, personal net worth, adaptability, and business proposal.
