Alberta has released details of its September 30 draw. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) invited 275 Express Entry candidates with scores of at least 300 to apply for a provincial nomination.
Overall, Alberta hosted four Alberta Express Entry draws in September, each with a required minimum score of 300. A total of 1,610 invitations were issued last month alone.
Alberta has now invited 5,617 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination since resuming invitation rounds in January 2021. It had taken a temporary hiatus in the final months of 2020. The draws send out invitations to Express Entry candidates to request a certificate of nomination. , which will greatly support their application for permanent residence. This year, Alberta is authorised to issue 6,250 certificates of appointment.
