Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program’s linked Express Entry category has released more than 5,000 invitations to eligible express entry candidates to apply Canada PR through Provincial Nominee Program. To be  eligible under this program an individual needs to register an Expression of interest with Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program having work experience in any of the professions in the in-demand occupation list related to their field of study.

The major improvement observed in this pathway in the year 2019 is the change imbibed by the Saskatchewan government from the In-Demand Occupation List to an Excluded Occupation List resulting in expansion of the occupation list creating more and more frequency in the draws. After the change was executed 3,800 Express Entry candidates were invited to apply Canada PR through PNP.

Nova Scotia

Nova Scotia located on the Atlantic coast of Canada was the dark horse in the race of invitations. The province issued frequent draws through its Labour Market Priorities Stream inviting more and more eligible Express Entry candidates. The stream gives permission to the Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) to look for eligible candidates from the Express entry pool with experience in any of the occupation fulfilling the Labour shortage of the province.

NSNP used its Labour Market Priorities Stream eight times in the preceding year inviting assorted professionals from the Express Entry pool.
