3,600 Express Entry Applicants Invited To Apply Canada PR in the Latest Cut Off Released As On 24th July 2019

The latest cut off released yesterday by the government of Canada is just a point decrease in comparison to the pervious draw released as on 10th July 2019 has raised the hopes of aspiring applicants waiting for the cut offs to decrease. This time 3,600 candidates with a minimum score of 459 or more have been lucky enough to receive an invitation to apply from the pool of Express Entry contenders. Consecutively for the second time in a row IRCC has invited such a huge number of candidates to apply Canada PR. This is however a huge increase of 250 ITAs over the 10 all-program Express Entry draws held between 30th January and 26th June, which had a cap of 3,350 ITAs each.

The time gap between the draws acts as a crucial factor that can intensively impact the CRS cut-off score, the shorter the intervals are the fewer candidates have time to enter a profile in the Express Entry pool which exactly is the reason of decreasing of the CRS draws. Draw size is a decisive determinant of the CRS cut-off — bigger draws allows IRCC to engage deeper into the pool and can result in candidates with lower CRS scores receiving an ITA.
Contenders from the pool of three different economic-class immigration categories – Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class are handled by Express Entry System. All appropriate applicants from these three categories enter their profiles in the express entry pool where they are ranked on the basis of points the Comprehensive Ranking System scores decided mainly on five factors that includes age, education, work experience, language ability and adaptability majorly. Applicants with high ranking are then issued Invitation to Apply by IRCC, Canada ensuring a visa approval on successful clearance of medical and police verification. This time candidates with a CRS of 459 or more who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time have been bequeathed with an ITA. The release of the current draw sums up the number of invitations issued in 2019 to 49,000.
