492 Invitations Issued By Manitoba Second Time In The Month Of December

The Canada Immigration seems like a cakewalk, with various Provincial Nomination programs offered by IRCC, for aspiring PR candidates with less IELTS band score.

Manitoba, one of the provinces in Canada released its second Expression of Interest draw on 21st December, 2018, issuing 492 invitations to candidates applying under these three pathways; Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education streams. In total 351 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) were issued to candidates under Skilled Workers Overseas Stream and 106 LAAs were issued to candidates under Skilled Workers in Manitoba candidates and the rest 35 letters were issued to candidates under Manitoba’s new International Education Stream.

Invitation were issued to candidate under Skilled Workers Overseas stream with lowest scores of 576, whereas under Skilled Workers in Manitoba invitations were issued to candidates with lowest score of 502.The December 20 draw brings the total number of invitations issued this month by the MPNP to 1,022. All the applicants in the express entry pool who receives an invitation are awarded 600 additional points towards their CRS score which indeed increases their chances of visa.

These candidates had to have the following in order to receive an LAA:

  • a close relative residing in Manitoba or past education or work experience in Manitoba;
  • at least six months of recent experience in an occupation on Manitoba’s In-demand Occupations list; and
  • a minimum language proficiency of CLB/NCLC 5 unless work experience is primarily in a regulated occupation (minimum CLB/NCLC 7) or a compulsory trade (CLB/NCLC 6).
