Striking amount of activity has been observed in the Current week in Canada’s Express Entry – linked provincial Nominee streams. High number of candidates has been selected by various provinces to apply provincial Nomination in a time span of less than five days, the counting of ITA’s goes more than 1,400.
This program allows provinces to and territories to select candidates from the Express entry pool meeting the eligibility criteria and the labour market requirement of the province granting candidates with an additional 600 points towards there Comprehensive Ranking System scores ensuring Canada PR visa approval with medical and police clearance certificates.
Express Entry is the major pathway through which skilled workers are granted Canada PR administrating the pool of applicants under various subclasses that are – Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class, therefore to be eligible to be considered for Provincial Nomination Program, a candidate should have an active profile in Express Entry
Ontario and Nova Scotia most active PNP’s
Higher than 1,400 Invitations has been issued to aspiring applicants by Ontario and Nova Scotia under the Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream and Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities Stream in a time frame of less than a week. Both Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream and Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities Stream are passive streams which are allowed to search the Express Entry pool for candidates with particular profiles in demand.
The Human Capital Priorities draw has granted 1,072 Express Entry Candidates with work experience in 10 occupations listed below:
- NOC 0114: Other administrative services managers
- NOC 0601: Corporate Sales Managers
- NOC 1122: Professional occupations in business management consulting
- NOC 0124: Advertising, marketing and public relations managers
- NOC 0621: Retail and wholesale trade managers
- NOC 1111: Financial auditors and accountants
- NOC 3012: Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses
- NOC 0111: Financial managers
- NOC 1114: Other financial officers
- NOC 0651: Managers in customer and personal services, n.e.c
Similarly, Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities Stream, which was established last year to aim at the Express Entry candidates filling the gap in the labour market. The NSPNP has released a draw as on 3rd June 2019 wherein 312 Express Entry Candidates were issued notification of Interest to early childhood educators and assistants. This was the second time that this NOC code has been issued to this particular NOC code.The stream also targeted at financial auditors and accountants whose first language was French. While Ontario only drew candidates with Express Entry CRS scores ranging from 439 to 469, Nova Scotia did not have a minimum CRS requirement in their draw.
Alberta too contributed the targets
Another program actively contributing to the PNP targets is AINP which indeed has been active in the past some weeks which contributed in the targets set be IRCC and provinces in coordination by issuing 316 Notification of Interest to Express entry candidates in the month of May with CRS scores as low as 301.
