British Columbia PNP held the new draw on 31st Aug 2021.
British Columbia invited 488 immigration candidates through four provincial nominee programs (PNP).
British Columbia has been running two separate rounds of PNPs each month since February. The province is hosting a general draw and a second draw targeting retail and wholesale managers, as well as restaurant and foodservice managers. The second draw involves a large number of people registered with the BC PNP’s Immigration Registration System (SIRS) in these two professions, the province said in a press release. After completing these additional draws, B.C. strives to balance the needs of all sectors of the provincial labor market.
Candidates from the Skills Immigration (SI) and Express Entry BC (EEBC) flows of the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) received invitations in the general draw.
In particular, invitations were sent from subcategories Skilled Worker, International Graduate, as well as subcategories of the initial and semi-skilled SI and EEBC streams.
The minimum points for this draw ranged from 69 to 90 points. A total of 467 candidates were invited.
A second separate draw was also held for the SI and EEBC categories and was aimed at candidates whose professions fall under NOC 0621 or NOC 0631. As a result of the draw, 21 invitations were received with a score of 106.
This year B.C. sent out over 8000 invitations through various BC PNP streams.
