Canada Express Entry: 1,000 Invitations Issued in the Latest Draw

September 13, 2024- Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has recently issued Invitations to Apply (ITAs) in the latest Express Entry draw. This draw is part of the ongoing effort to attract skilled workers to the country.
In this draw, the department issued 1,000 ITAs in a category-based selection for candidates with French language proficiency. To be eligible, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 446.

This marks the second Express Entry draw of the month, following an active summer season. Throughout July and August, IRCC held 14 separate Express Entry draws. Notably, July set a record with the highest number of draws in a single month since the system’s inception in 2015, with nine draws conducted between July 2 and July 31.

The most recent Express Entry draw before this one occurred on September 9th, issuing invitations to 911 candidates in a draw exclusively for Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) candidates. To qualify, candidates needed a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 732.
