Canada outshines by issuing 70,000 invitations to Express Entry Candidates in the year 2019

Despite high CRS score release, IRCC, Canada has managed to invite 3,900 Express Entry candidates in the latest draw released as on 30th October 2019. Candidates with minimum score of 475 were blessed with ITA’s in this draw. This draw sums up the total number of invitations to71,700 so far this year through the Express Entry System which manages candidates from three different Economic Immigration Programs – Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.

Let’s look at the followed by the government of Canada for awarding the scores under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS):

AGE: The best age to apply under Express Entry Program is 18 to 35 years, however, as the age rises by 1 year the points gets deducted by one point each year. 45 is the maximum age limit.

QUALIFICATION: Qualification should be equivalent to Canadian standards whether it be diploma , bachelors or masters degree in any field

WORK EXPERIENCE: Minimum 2 years of experience in skill level O, A and B

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Minimum 6 bands are required in every English Language Test module. IELTS Exam results are valid for two years

ADAPTABILITY: 10 extra points are given to candidates if they are moving to Canada with theircommon-law relationship, and your spouse or partner

Arranged Employment or Job offer: If you are migrating to Canada with a job offer by a Canadian employer you get an extra 10 points.

This time the draw has been released after 28 days, wherein the draws are released every fortnightly. It has always been seen that longer period between draws results in higher CRS score release expecting a lower CRS score in the next or upcoming draw. The cut-off of 475 is an increase of 11 points in comparison to the last cut off released as on 2nd October 2019.

“In case federal government holds large draws every two weeks, we can observe that the CRS cut-off begins to decrease,” said David Cohen, senior partner with the Campbell.
