Good News for Early Childhood Educators, Nova Scotia invites Express Entry candidates in the latest draw released as on 3rd June 2019

312 Express Entry applicants with appropriate work experience as early childhood educators and assistants were sent an ITA in the latest draw released by Nova Scotia. These invitations were granted to candidates eligible under Labour Market Priorities Stream allowing the province of Nova Scotia to search Express Entry Pool for skilled candidates successfully fulfilling all the requirements of the province. These draws are released in accordance with the labour market shortage faced by the province.

The Nova Scotia Nominee Program allows the province to nominate targeted candidates for Canada PR through the eight streams customized according to the specific economic needs faced by the province. Out of all the eight streams, three streams are linked to the Express Entry System managing pool of candidates for three Economic Class Immigration categories – Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class. These candidates are granted with an extra 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System scores once they receive an Invitation to apply from the province, ensuring a fast track completion of the PR process and approval of visa.

To be able to be considered under the Nova Scotia’s Labour Market Priorities Stream the major requirement is that the candidate needs to have an account under the Express Entry pool. The 3rd June 2019 draw was the second through this stream targeting specially the express entry candidates with experience in NOC 4214 – childhood educators and assistants.
