Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) held a new Express Entry draw on June 4, 2025, inviting 500 candidates from the healthcare and social services occupations category to apply for permanent residence in Canada.

This category-based Express Entry draw focused on candidates with at least six months of recent work experience in one of 37 eligible healthcare and social service roles, including nurses, social workers, and medical technologists.

CRS Trends and Pool Update

Compared to the previous healthcare draw on May 2, 2025, the CRS cut-off dropped from 510 to 504, slightly increasing the chances for eligible professionals to receive an ITA.

The Express Entry pool saw a noticeable increase, with the number of candidates rising to 255,030 as of June 1, 2025. Particularly, candidates in the 501–600 CRS score range surged by 2,215, indicating growing competition in the pool.
