Ontario holds the first PNP invitation round for Masters and PhD grads

Ontario held its first round of invitations to master’s and doctoral courses, nearly two weeks after revamping the admissions system for the two provincial immigration programs.

Between draws, the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) invited 479 international graduate students to apply for a provincial nomination on August 18.

Ontario invited 402 people to apply for the master’s stream. Invited applicants had to achieve an Expression of Interest (EOI) score of at least 39 to receive an invitation.

For the Doctorate stream, Ontario invited 77 applicants with EOI scores of 17 and above.
