Ontario Issues 1,287 PR Invitations in Latest Express Entry Draw

Latest Express entry draw conducted by the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), inviting 1,287 skilled immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination for permanent residence.
This latest draw is in line with OINP's commitment to attract and retain highly skilled individuals who can contribute to the economic growth and social well-being of the province. Successful candidates in this draw will have the opportunity to accelerate their Canadian immigration process by getting priority for the federal process.
By targeting CRS scores between 479 and 490, the OINP aims to select highly qualified candidates who are likely to succeed in the province’s dynamic job market

The OINP Express Entry Skilled Trades stream has made significant strides in 2024, issuing 7,699 invitations across just four draws. This marks an increase compared to the 7,512 invitations issued throughout all of 2023, highlighting the province's ongoing efforts to attract skilled trade professionals to meet labor market demands.
