Latest Ontario PNP draw held on Oct 6, 2021.
Canadian province Ontario held a new Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) stream draw after two month.
The 486 invited candidates may be eligible for provincial nomination to support their application for permanent residence if they meet all of the program’s eligibility criteria. This Provincial Nominee Program (PNP), which is aligned with the Express Entry system, automatically awards foreign workers 600 points for their overall score if they are nominated.
The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) targeted Express Entry applicants with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores between 463 and 467.
In this draw, the OINP invited applicants if they had work experience in one of the following 18 professions:
Candidates invited to Express Entry must have at least one year of work experience in one of these professions in order to receive the provincial nomination. If appointed under this PNP or any other PNP related to Express Entry, they will be placed in the lead to receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) for Permanent Residence.
So far this year, Ontario has invited 4,851 immigrant applicants under this stream.
In 2020, Ontario invited 6,716 Express Entry candidates to apply for a provincial nomination through the HCP stream, making it the most popular Express Entry related program of the year in Ontario.
