Nova Scotia Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw update on February 8. Nova Scotia PNP invited 278 Nurses to apply for provincial nomination.
The Nova Scotia Nominee Program (NSNP) invites applicants who have profiles in the Express Entry system. Nova Scotia periodically invites Express Entry candidates in targeted occupations to apply for registration under its Provincial Nominee Program (PNP). In the new draw, the NSNP has invited nurses who may be eligible for the Nova Scotia Labor Market Priority Stream.
To gain the appointment, applicants must have a primary occupation as a registered nurse or registered psychiatric nurse. Their tasks must conform to the National Occupational Classification (NOC) 3012.
They will need to provide reference letters from employers to demonstrate that they have at least three years of experience in their profession.
Invited candidates must have a Canadian Language Benchmark Level (CLLB) score of 9 or higher in English or French in all language abilities. They must also have a bachelor’s degree or have completed at least a three-year program at a post-secondary institution.
The deadline to apply is before midnight on March 10. If successful, they will receive a provincial nomination from Nova Scotia. They will be considered as PCP candidates in the Express Entry system, which will allow them to apply for permanent residence if they are invited to an Express Entry draw.
