Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program releases its first draw for the year 2019 for two sub-categories; Express Entry Stream and Occupations – in – Demand stream. Out of 596, 362 invitations went to Express Entry sub-category which indeed is connected to our Federal Skilled Express Entry program allowing the government of Saskatchewan to cherry-pick suitable candidates for Canada PR and the remaining 234 invitations went to candidates falling in the Occupations in demand category which as the name suggests means that the category is for foreign workers with work experience in one of the relevant occupation of the in demand occupation list. The qualifying points for Saskatchewan is 60 out of 100, however, the lowest score drawn in the January 16th release was 63 for Express Entry stream candidates and 66 for In demand occupation list category.
