MPNP issued a total of 213 invitations to skilled immigrants in the latest round of invitations held on August 28. Candidates were invited through MPNP’s three immigration streams: Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education streams.
Following is the minimum EOI scores that were required to get a Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) in this provincial draw:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 475 points with 171 LAAs issued
- Skilled Workers Overseas – 824 points with 8 LAAs issued
- International Education Stream – No EOI score required with 34 LAAs issued
MPNP has so far issued a total of 3,299 LAAs in these categories in year 2020.
Candidates who want to move to the province of Manitoba under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) must register an expression of interest with the MPNP to receive an LAA through the Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas streams.
In the Manitoba system, these applicants are ranked out of 1,000 points for human capital characteristics such as their English or French language skills, education, work experience, relationship with Manitoba, and other factors.
