3,000 Express Entry candidates have been issued invitation to apply in a new draw that took place on 14th March 2018 for Canadian permanent residence. The minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score for this draw was 456, 14 points higher than the previous draw of 442.
The draw took place after a major gap of 3 weeks whereas all the previously announced draws have been release within a gap of two weeks maximum. Draws in 2018 have also seen the number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) fluctuate between 2,750 and 3,000 and CRS scores range between highest of 456 and lowest as of 442 so far in 2018.
IRCC once again engaged its tie-break rule in this newest draw. In this case, the time and date of the tie-break was March 3, 2018. All applicants with a CRS score above 456 or applicants with scores of 456, who have entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this time, received an ITA.
