IRCC applied a tie break in the August 12 draw of August 6, 2019, at 12:14:53 UTC. This shows that all entrants with a CRS score of 466 or above, who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA.
3,600 ITAs issued in the latest draw brings the total number of ITA’s issued in the year 2019 since January to 52,600. These extended draw sizes could aid IRCC surpass its single-year ITA record of 89,800 invitations that was set last year. Draws are usually held every two weeks and a lengthened period between draws permits the Express Entry pool more time to restock with higher-scoring candidates.
