Saskatchewan’s round of invitation under the best suited subcategory for foreign immigrants is the occupations in demand subcategory wherein all invited candidates needed to fulfill either of the below mentioned criteria:
-Should possess Educational Credential Assessments
– Should have a close family member in the province
– Should have studied at a post secondary institution in the province.
Some of the occupations selected In this round of invitation were namely college instructors, medical laboratory technologists, and corporate sales managers.
To be selected under this subcategory of SINP,applicants needed to file an expression of interest (EOI)profile to the SINP where they are assessed on the basis of Their personal information such as age, qualification, work experience, language proficiency, connections in the province etc.. According to these details they are then assigned points out of 100 based on the SINP’s International Skilled WOrker points assessment grid. This EOI system permits the province to select potential and eligible candidates For issuing ITA.
The minimum score required in the March 26 draw was 75.
After the announcement of special corona virus measures on 16th March 2020 many provinces like BC, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan have held provincial nominee program draws.
SINP has invited a total of 1969 invitations till date this year wherein 1124 Invitations were used to Occupations In-Demand candidates and 845 invites went away to candidates from Saskatchewan’s Express Entry sub-category.
The Express Entry sub-category Of this province is Directly or indirectly linked to the federal Express Entry system, which Handles all the candidates from the pool of three of Canada’s main economic-class immigration program namely Federal skilled worker program, Federal skilled trades program and Canadian Experience class. All candidates invited under tie express entry sub category Must have an active express entry profile along with EOI profile in order to be selected by the province for an ITA.Each candidate issued with an invitation automatically adds on 600 extra points towards their Comprehensive Ranking Scores which guarantees the candidates selection for an invitation to apply for Canada PR in the upcoming federal express entry draw.
