CRS Drops to 397 Points in the Latest Express Entry for Canadian Experience Class (CEC)
On May 20, 2021 Express Entry opened New Surprise Draw.
Canada held the surprise Express Entry Draw on 20 May 2021 for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC). The immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued invitations to apply (ITAs) 1842 immigration candidates apply for Canada PR Visa through the Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
IRCC has dropped the CRS (Comprehensive ranking system) Score minimum points requirement 397 points. In this express entry draw lowest CRS score requirement since the historic Feb 13, 2021 draw where the CRS cutoff score was just 75.
Express Entry 2021
So far in 2021, 68,317 candidates have been invited. The number of invitations issued this year is much higher than the rate last year. This may be because IRCC has large draws, sometimes up to 6,000. Also, on February 13, IRCC invited each CEC candidate to apply for permanent residence.
