IRCC held its 160th Express entry draw inviting a total of 600 express entry candidates with a provincial nomination setting the CRS score cut-off at 771 points.
Draw held on August 19th was the third express entry draw of this month. 250 ITAs were issued in the round of invitation held on August 6, inviting a total of 250 Federal Skilled Trades (FST) candidates with a minimum CRS score of 415 points.
Another (all program) draw held on August 5, inviting a total of 3,900 immigrants with the CRS score cut-off set at 476 points.
Today’s draw was the 27th draw of 2020 and brings the total number of ITAs issued this year to 62,450, a new record for that date. This means that despite the current COVID-19 pandemic, the Government of Canada is still working to meet its immigration targets for 2020.
IRCC used its tie-break rule in today’s draw. The timestamp used was July 24, 2020, at 11:29:33 UTC. This means that all applicants with a CRS score of 771 or above, who entered their profile into the Express Entry pool before the selected date and time, received an ITA in the latest express entry draw.
