Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issued same number of Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canada PR visa second time in a row on 9th November 2022. Since all-program draws resumed on July 6, this is the tenth draw.
IRCC invited 4,750 applicants with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 494. Candidates from the Canadian Experience Class (CEC), the Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), and the Federal Skilled Trades Program were invited (FSTP). All of these programmes are part of the Express Entry system.
Express Entry all-program draws were paused for over 18 months beginning in December 2020. Only candidates from the CEC or the Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) were invited to apply during the pause (ITAs). The draws were halted due to an application backlog caused by COVID-19-related travel restrictions. IRCC also paused CEC draws in September 2021.
This is the second draw in a row to invite 4,750 candidates, following the draw on October 26. The minimum CRS dropped by only two points, from 496 to 496, the smallest drop since all-program draws resumed.
