Great news for candidates waiting to Apply Manitoba, the province released its new draw issuing 196 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence as on 23rd May 2019. Out of the total number of invitations 119 invitations were issued to Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream, 60 invitations were issued to overseas candidates and 17 were invitations were issued to International Education Stream to international graduates of Manitoba post-secondary institutions. Total no. of invitations issued this year till now are 4,320 increasing the chances of applicants to get more and more invitations granting 600 extra points towards the Comprehensive Ranking System score to Express Entry candidates. The MPNP program allows the province to nominate candidates according to skill requirement of employers ascertaining them economically. This program indeed is one of the most active and successful PNP’s welcoming 1, 30,000 newcomers since the starting of the program.

Express Entry candidates invited
The draw released on 23rd May 2019 to Express Entry candidates with a job seeker validation code and experience in an occupation in the demand list released by the province. Eligible temporary foreign workers and international students graduate with a full-time job by an employer of Manitoba can also apply skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream, however, The Skilled Workers Overseas Stream enables MPNP nominate eligible candidates living outside Canada having a connection in Manitoba like support of family members or friends, previous education or work experience in the province or an invitation under one of the MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives.
All Candidates with the highest scores are invited through regular draws from Manitoba’s EOI pool.
The minimum score required for an ITA was:
- Skilled Workers in Manitoba: 548
- Skilled Workers Overseas: 506
