Canadian government held its fourth Express Entry draw of 2023 was held on 02 Feb.
Invitations were sent to 3,300 applicants having a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 489 by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Since Express Entry launched in 2015, the draw was only eligible to applicants to the Federal Skilled Worker Program. Following the results on February 1 in which only applicants who had already secured provincial nomination received an ITA, this was the second program-specific draw of 2023.
Express Entry draws typically occur on Wednesdays every two weeks. The protocol seen since Express Entry was launched in 2015 has changed for the draws in 2023.
Following the draw on November 23, there was an unexpected six-week break until the first draw of this year took place on January 11. The introduction of NOC 2021 may have triggered an IT system malfunction, according to an email from IRCC to CIC News that suggested as much.
