IRCC’s announcement of total 11,150 ITA’s in a month quavers Express Entry system’s five-year history

Record breaking number of invitations issued to Express Entry candidates in a single month. January raises hopes of aspiring Canada PR Visa candidates with constant drop in CRS scores and mounting ITA’s issued in each cut off release. 438 the new cut off released as on 30th January 2019 is 5 points lesser than the previous round of invitation released on 24th January, 2019. Total of 11,150 invitations issued in a month is indeed an incredible start of the year.
Express Entry System administers candidates from Canada’s three Federal Skilled economic immigration sub categories— the Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class. Candidates eligible to apply for express entry pool are given scores on the basis of factors such as age, education, work experience, language, adaptability etc.
IRCC applies tie-break rule in the 30th January draw. The time stamp used was April 26, 2018, at 05:00:46 UTC. This means that all applicants with a CRS score of 438 or above enters their profile in the Express Entry pool before the selected date and time.
