Manitoba issues 230 invitations to candidates from various sub categories as on 21st November 2019

230 candidates selected by Manitoba to Apply Canada PR in the 77th Expression of Interest draw released by the province on 21st November 2019. The 230 invitations were divided into three sub categories namely Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Worker Overseas Category and International Education stream.
The 230 invitations issued were distributed as follows:
- Skilled Worker in Manitoba: 185
- Skilled Worker Overseas: 16
- International Education Stream: 29
The latest invitations sums up the invitations issued till date 7,141.

There are two sub categories for which Invitations are issued through Expression of Interest system to Skilled Worker in Manitoba and Skilled Worker Overseas stream candidates. To apply under this program every entrant needs to create a profile wherein scores are granted out of 1,000 on several factors such as age, experience, education, job offer, language ability etc. The highest scoring candidates receive LAA allowing them to Apply Canada PR through Manitoba.
The lowest ranked candidate invited under Skilled Workers in Manitoba Stream had a score of 504 whereas the lowest-ranked candidate invited under Skilled Workers Overseas stream had a score of 739. The 16 contenders invited through the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream were invited by MPNP under Strategic Recruitment Initiative.
Through Express Entry System:
20 invitations were issued to entrants in the latest draw, having a valid Express Entry Profile. Express Entry contenders along with the invitation receive an additional 600 points towards their Comprehensive Ranking System scores which somehow guarantees Canadian permanent residence in the subsequent federal Express Entry draw.
To be eligible under MPNP candidates must have the required work Experience in any of the occupations stated under Manitoba’s in-demand occupations. They must also offer a separate Expression of Interest to the MPNP.
Through Skilled Worker Overseas and in Manitoba
Under Skilled Worker Overseas category allows the province of Manitoba to choose and nominate skilled foreign workers to fulfill the requirements of the province’s labor market. Candidate should have a connection to Manitoba such as close family or friends, previous education or work experience, or an invitation through one of the MPNP’s Strategic Recruitment Initiatives whereas entrants invited through Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream should be working in Manitoba and have a full-time, permanent job offer from their employer.
