Nova Scotia to accept 225 new applications under the most popular stream Nova Scotia Demand:
Express Entry Category B as per the announcement on 16th November 2018. NSPNP is all set to open on 17th November 2018. The stream under NSPNP invites applications from Express Entry candidates without any job offer and with at least one year of work experience in one of the 11 opportunity occupations listed by the province.
NSPNP works on first-come, first served basis with no minimum or maximum express entry cut-off. Candidates who receive invitations from this province are awarded with additional 600 points in their CRS points. This leaves these candidates well-positioned for ITA for Canadian permanent residence in the upcoming express entry draw.
To become eligible for Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry Category B candidates should have:
- Profile in Express Entry system
- Foreign education credentials evaluated equivalent by any one of the four credential assessment agencies
- Standardized language test acceptable to the governments of Canada and Nova Scotia, at least an adequate intermediate language proficiency in English or French (Canadian Language Benchmark) CLB 7
- At least 67 points on the Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry points grid.
