Ontario emboldens a great start of 2019, issuing 1,493 ITA’s to candidates under Human Capital Priorities Stream

The province of Ontario goes big this year to stimulate the contribution of Ontario Immigration Nominee Program towards the economy of Canada by announcing 1,439 Notification of Interest’s to candidates under Human Capital Priorities stream with the CRS scores of 439 and above. This PNP allows the province of Ontario to explore Canada’s Federal Skilled Express Entry pool as per the eligibility criteria’s set forth for the applicants in the pool. Eligible candidates are then issued with notification of interests (NOI) from Ontario and are immediately granted 600 additional points towards their CRS scores in the Express Entry pool if the application is successful.

Additional 600 points towards your CRS score ratifies an assured Invitation to apply from the Government of Canada PR. Notification of interest from Ontario will sum up your scores to 1,039 that is 439 the cut off released by the province plus 600 additional points for getting an NOI from Ontario.

The highlight of this draw came as good news for aspiring applicants, as 2019’s first draw targeted the general category of the pool that is people without job offer or French speaking ability. As per HCPS application guide that was published in December 2018, candidates with a job offer or work experience in specific occupations or sectors were given priority but this year’s draw contradicted this and announced 1,093 invitations to HCPS candidates without both the said requirements. The first and the most mandatory step to apply under this stream are to enter your profile under Federal Express Entry pool.
