Saskatchewan invites 104 immigrants in first PNP Draw

First SINP draw of 2022 held on 12 Jan. Saskatchewan invited 104 immigration candidates to apply for a provincial nomination.

In this first draw of the year 2022, the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has invited applicants to apply through two of its immigration streams. Of those invited, 37 may be eligible for the SINP Express Entry subcategory and 67 may be eligible for the In-Demand Professions subcategory.

The lowest-scoring candidate from each sub-category had 68 points on Saskatchewan’s Expression of Interest (EOI) ranking system.

In this draw, Saskatchewan invited candidates with work experience in one of six professions: medical laboratory technologists, allied health professionals, psychologists, medical sonographers, occupational therapists and medical radiation technologists.

Candidates in both categories also needed educational credential assessments to demonstrate that their education abroad was comparable to the Canadian standard.
