Saskatchewan issues 234 invitations in second January selection round

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program, one of the most active provincial Nominee Program has left behind all other provinces by releasing a total of 542 invitations to Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand candidates in a span of four days. 234 more invitations have been issued this Monday that is the 13th of January 2020. Two days has been the shortest gap between the releases of draws since the day Saskatchewan introduced the Expression of Interest (EOI) system.

The EOI system lets the province to pick eligible candidates interested in a life in Saskatchewan. Applicants needs to assessed for creation of an EOI profile on factors such as age, work experience, language ability, education and connections in Saskatchewan to display their capability to settle in Saskatchewan. Applicants are allotted scores out of 100in the SINP points grid wherein the highest-scoring candidates are issued an invitation to apply for Canada PR through SINP. The best thing to apply through this program is that job offer is not a mandatory requirement; the only compulsory requirement is one year work experience in an eligible skilled occupation list linked with their area of study.
Express Entry

Saskatchewan’s latest selection round issues 125 invitations to candidates with profiles in the Federal Express Entry Pool of candidates from three immigration programs namely Federal Skilled Worker Class, Federal Skilled Trades Class and Canadian Experience Class.When applicants from the Express Entry pool fill Expression of Interest for Saskatchewan along with scoring 69 points in the SINP Points Grid are absolutely eligible for invitations. Provincial Nomination invitation would directly or indirectly add up 600 points to the Comprehensive Ranking System scores efficiently ensuring a visa in the coming draw for Canada PR.

Occupations In-Demand

Under Occupations in Demand stream of SINP 109 invitations has been issued to candidates who do not have an Express Entry profile but have minimum score of 69 in the SINP point’s assessment grid.
SINP has an Excluded Occupations List instead of in-demand occupations which has been introduced by the province to allow more and more skilled people to fill gaps in the changing demands of the province’s labor market. 109 invitations were divided into 65 occupations like financial managers, human resource professionals, and university professors and lecturers
